I found my love of travel in a little red suitcase in the back of my grandma's white Dodge Dynasty.
In an era before cell phones and GPS, I was charged with navigating my aunt to our destination using the map my grandpa had carefully marked for us. I'll never forget the anticipation as we would finally pull into our destination after hours of driving that moment when weeks of planning suddenly turned into pure excitement.
As a travel advisor, that's still the feeling I chase for my clients. That moment when the planning is done, the bags are packed and the trip you've been talking about forever is actually happening. It's my favorite part of what I do.
Today, my own travels have taken me throughout Europe, South America, Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean and beyond, and the more of the world I experience, the longer my own bucket list seems to get. I've sailed oceans and rivers, explored ancient cities, wandered through European markets, stayed at incredible resorts and discovered that some of my favorite travel memories happen in the places and moments I never expected.
I especially love planning luxury, adventure and bucket-list travel—the "we've always wanted to do this" kind of trips. Whether that's an African safari, an expedition cruise, sailing the Nile through Egypt, exploring Europe by river, experiencing Alaska from a small ship or putting together a multi-country international journey, I love taking a big travel dream and figuring out how all the pieces can work together.
I regularly travel, attend industry events and trainings, tour resorts and ships, and build relationships with trusted partners around the world. I'm always looking for the little details, authentic experiences, incredible food and unexpected places that can turn a great vacation into a trip you'll talk about for years.
I don't believe there's one "best" way to travel. I want to know what excites you, what you've always wanted to see and how you actually like to spend your time. Then we can create something that feels like your trip—not everyone else's.
Seriously, if you’re planning a destination wedding go with Kendell! We just got back from our wedding at Haven Riviera Maya, and it went so well! We debated even using a travel agent but she was so worth it! It felt like herding cats, but Kendell handled every single guest's travel, room bookings, and questions like a total pro. It took so much weight off our shoulders. She sent out detailed information to everyone before traveling and they loved it. When Kendell asked if I was open to staying in the rainforest I was definitely unsure. I haven’t even camped in OK. 😂 The resort was amazing with hot springs and perfect location. We did one full day of activities and it was amazing to see the rainforest, Arenal volcano 🌋 And the waterfall which was 500 steps down and 500 steps up! Perfect weather with a raincoat!
