Zurich/Interlaken
Take in the beautiful Zurich panorama as your comfortable motorcoach departs for Interlaken. See the snow-streaked Bernese Alps peeking above the trees as you drive along the scenic Brunig Pass. You'll also have a chance to photograph the astounding UNESCO-designated summit of Jungfrau massif, with its group of three famous peaks: Jungfrau, the Monch, and the Eiger. (B,D)

Interlaken
Board your train and head to Jungfraujoch, often referred to as "the Top of Europe" where you'll find the continent's highest railway station at 11,333 feet. Then, spend the day gazing out at the snow-covered mountain peaks, taking in the immense beauty of this picture-perfect Alpine wonderland. (B)

Interlaken/Lucerne
During your motorcoach transit to Lucerne, immerse yourself in Switzerland's medieval history with a stop in Berne. Meet your local guide for a sightseeing tour of Old Town, then witness the awe of the Barengraben, a park with an enclosure that houses live bears, right in the middle of the city! Delight in the flavors of your lunch at a working farm, then travel past Emmental, famed for producing Swiss cheese, as you glide past rolling green hills and rustic hamlets. (B,L)

Lucerne
On your walking tour this morning, admire Thorwaldsen's lion monument and ornate patrician houses of the walled Old Town, then, cross the famous covered Chapel Bridge to the Jesuit church. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take our optional excursion climbing a mountain by cable car. Tonight, enjoy a cruise on the fjord-like lake followed by a real taste of Switzerland, a typical three-course dinner including cheese fondue. (B,D)

Lucerne/Como
Admire the striking Swiss Alps as you travel along the St. Gotthard Pass on the way to Lake Lugano, a spectacular glacial lake that lies on the border between Switzerland and Italy. Afterwards, cross into Italy for the city of Como. (B)

Como
Get ready for a morning of sightseeing as you board your scenic boat trip along Lake Como. Glimpse the lovely manicured gardens of the 18th-century Villa Balbianello and the neo-classical Villa Melzi before stopping in the idyllic Italian villages of Menaggio and Bellagio. Later cruise to Como along the banks of this pre-Alpine lake and view the opulent villas of celebrities including George Clooney and the Versace family. (B,D)
