This small village is a gateway to the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, where certified naturalists interpret one of the richest ecosystems in North America. Known worldwide for whale activity, bird migration, and coastal biodiversity, Tadoussac offers opportunities to explore its natural history through guided whale watching, interpretive hikes, and visits to historic lighthouse sites. The surrounding forests, cliffs, and shoreline reveal why this region has drawn explorers, scientists, and nature lovers for centuries.

Day 3: SAGUENAY, QC

Saguenay is a cultural and natural anchor of the voyage, offering access to the only navigable fjord in North America. Surrounded by forest, rivers, and steep-sided cliffs, the region combines striking landscapes with deep historical roots. Ashore, guests can explore reconstructed New France settlements, learn about Indigenous culture and land use, and venture into parks and canyons guided by knowledgeable naturalists. Additional highlights include, Chicoutimi's Boardwalk and local markets to shop for the popular Saguenay Cheese and blueberry pie.
