Day 2: Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge

A cruise along the Chena River on a Sternwheeler Riverboat is about as authentic as it gets. Later, you'll head for Denali National Park via a scenic motorcoach trip to the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Check in with the Guest Service Desk for help in planning your own Denali adventure like a husky homestead tour, river rafting, hiking, glacier flightseeing or an off-road ATV adventure. Or you may enjoy the spectacular main lodge, river view deck, and Princess Village with the popular Christmas cottage and sugar shack. Dinner this evening is at the King Salmon Restaurant. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge

Explore Denali National Park on a Tundra Wilderness Tour, watching for glimpses of North America?s tallest peak as well as Denali's "Big Five"; bears, moose, caribou, wolves and Dall sheep. Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the park's diverse ecosystems, rich wildlife, and unique geological features, ensuring a deep appreciation for this pristine wilderness. Enjoy dinner this evening at Fannie Q's Saloon, named after a famed local homesteader.

Day 4: Mt. Mckinley Princess Wilderness Lodge

Between our two Denali lodges is some of Alaska's most beautiful scenery. Sightsee by Princess Rail to Talkeetna and then motorcoach to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge for a 1-night retreat. Sit and gaze at the majesty of ?The Great One? from the lodge?s treehouse designed and built by Pete Nelson of Animal Planet?s Treehouse Masters. Dinner is included at North Fork. (B, D)

Day 5: Mt. Mckinley Princess Wilderness Lodge

You have a full day to plan however you choose. Stop by the Tour Desk to book a variety of optional excursions. Walk the nature trails around the lodge, hear stories about climbing Denali in the Hudson Theater or roast a marshmallow at the fireside patio. Enjoy another dinner at North Fork. (B, D)
